Roof Crush Standards - Is Enough Being Done?
There are over 10,000 rollover accident per year in the United States. Many factors contribute to the rollovers, but one thing is for certain: the strength of the vehicle's roof can mean life or death for the occupants. Please provide your comments to this important safety issue.

Are most roofs able to withstand a roll over accident? If not, then the standards must be raised.
I also think the severity of the roof crushing should be taken into consideration. For example, if each roof could only be crushed up to five inches to protect passengers, then the auto manufactures should make that a standard.
Is there a standard now?
