Personal Injury Lawyer James H. BartolomeiBorn in Putnam, Connecticut in 1977, James grew up in Northeastern Connecticut in the small farming town of Pomfret, about 65 miles from Boston. He attended Pomfret School, a collegiate preparatory school, on a full 4-year scholarship.

James attended American University in Washington, DC where he earned a B.A. in International Studies with a concentration in Western European politics. While at American, he interned for Senator Joseph Lieberman in 1996, and the White House Press Office in 1997 for President Clinton. In 1998 he attended Semester at Sea, a 100 day study abroad program that gave him the opportunity to study in the Bahamas, Venezuela, Brazil, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, China, and Japan. He traveled to each port-of-call via ship with 600 fellow students from around the United States.

After graduating from American University in 1999, James worked as a paralegal for the law firm of Willkie, Farr & Gallagher and then for Howrey, Simon, Arnold & White, both in Washington, DC.

James then attended Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. During his second year of law school, he received a fellowship grant to work for Arkansas Congressman Vic Snyder's Washington, DC office on constitutional issues. James graduated from Suffolk in 2005. He is married to Suzanne.
